Liz Dillon
Liz is a Hatha Yoga teacher whose initial training was with The Life Centre now known as Yogacampus – The Life Centre Education and she is a member of the British Wheel of Yoga – London Region. Liz is also trained in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Yoga Therapy as well as in Mindfulness and Meditation. Liz is also a trained Drama and Movement Therapist (HCPC) and recently trained in Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Mate. She brings this interest in the therapeutic aspects of yoga and movement into her teaching.
Whilst working as a therapist Liz worked in many group and individual settings where she realised her passion for empowering the individual and celebrating each person's uniqueness. She has transferred this into her yoga teaching and emphasising that each of our bodies are unique and focusing on finding the way into a yoga posture that is right of each person in that particular moment, knowing that it might change as we do and our bodies change. Knowing the only constant thing is change itself!
Through her studies and practise Liz has learnt that there is so much to be gained from developing a witnessing eye in our practise. Our bodies can teach us so much and are a gateway into our own inner wisdom. Liz's teaching has been influenced by her studies with Tias Little of Prajna Yoga, Doug Keller, Susanne Lahusen, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and many other teachers along her path.
"I am so grateful to all the teachers that have come before me and all the students that share their journeys with me. I learn so much from all of you, thank you" Liz x
